The business began in 1999 as one small general hire branch at Yarraville. Expanded in 2005 to outer western suburbs of Melbounre and in 2008 Darrell Outen a part owner purchased the remaining 50% ownership. The new ownership and management lead to a plan to provide our customers with the best equipment and to be served by people who were accountable, highly trained and qualified to meet all OH&S standards. A new wider range of equipment was aggresively sought. The revamp has now created a Super store in the Deer Park area that is able to respond to our customers needs, provide a low cost alternative and more importantly provide a safe, enjoyable, challenging workplace to our staff of five. The new direction has placed Yarra Hire on a platform unequalled by independant stores. Our plan will be to replicate this winning formula to provide better stores accross Melbourne which will maximise returns and create better branding for Yarra Hire Pty Ltd.
