The "Hire Rhythm & All That Jazz" themed HRIA Convention and Exhibition was held between 19-22 April 2009 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.

New Tax Office ruling on fuel tax credits
The Tax Office has published the new ruling on entitlements to fuel tax credits. The purpose of the ruling is to overcome confusion as to which entity is entitled to a fuel tax credit under a hire arrangement.
